part i.
Character name: Benevenuta Crispo; current alias Vanessza Bernát.
Fandom: Highlander: The Series (original character)
Species: Immortal
Character powers: Short of decapitation, Benevenuta cannot die and will recover from all injury - while ordinarily lethal injuries may temporarily incapacitate her, she will eventually get up, dust herself off, and keep coming. It’s sort of the point. Her strength and agility, additionally, are a cut above that of a mortal to allow for the nature of the Game, and are traits she’s honed as a result of her ~lifestyle choices~. She has taken eighteen heads over the course of four hundred and fifty years. It's also worth noting that Immortals appear to be able to pull their sword from out of no where; Benny is probably never without hers, regardless of appearances. Thanks, my ridiculous canon!

part ii.
1.) Is it acceptable for your character to be mind-controlled or persuaded? How susceptible are they to mind control, hypnotism, or suggestion? Benevenuta is extremely strong-willed, but possesses no innate supernatural resistance or any kind of shielding. I generally veer away from plots like this; if you've got an idea you think I might go for, let me know.
2.) Is it acceptable for your character to have their mind read? Does this include traumatic memories? What is their mind like (disturbing, orderly, joyful, surprisingly empty, etc.)? If the character has psychic walls or preventative measures against psychic interference, please explain. Again, no innate resistance or shielding. Her mind is very well organized - startlingly so, given her apparent age vs her actual age - and a quick glance at her thoughts in most contexts wouldn't immediately reveal her. She does not go around, for instance, thinking GOSH I SURE AM OLD AS FUCK. That said, her native language is an ancient dialect of Greek, so it'd dime her out pretty quickly for not being exactly what she says she is.
3.) Are thoughts mentioned in narration acceptable for a telepath to pick up? If we've discussed it in advance, yes.
4.) What about emotions, in the case of an empath? What sort of general emotional reading would such a character receive from yours? Again, if we've discussed it in advance. Her general temperament is relatively laidback.
5.) Are there any aspects of your character's mind, emotions, or memories you would like to be picked up, mentioned, or used in character? Conversely, is there anything that should not be noticed, or at least never mentioned? I'd like to avoid HOLY SHIT YOU'RE IMMORTAL without prior planning, definitely.

part iii.
1.) Physically speaking, what stands out about your character? Imposing size? Physical scarring? Tattoos? Benevenuta's hair is dyed - she's a natural blonde - but aside from her odd brand of prettiness, she isn't physically very remarkable. She has only one scar, usually not visible - a rose brand low on the back of her hip.
2.) Is your character immune to any of the following: poisons, chemical agents, telekinetic influence, radiation, or types of illnesses? All oft he above except telekinetic influence. Although these things will kill her, she's effectively immune as she will, uh, get better.
3.) Is your character physiologically different from a human in any way? This can include their blood, skin, hair, et cetera being made up of something unusual or simply differing in construction and durability. The only way to permanently kill her is beheading, otherwise she's immortal. /jazzhands
4.) Are you amenable to having your character be harmed in any way? How far are you comfortable with injury to you character going? Does this include being fed on by vampires, willingly or unwillingly? I am down with doing terrible things to her! She's pretty competent in a fight, but not impossible to overpower or whathaveyou, and I would find her getting bothered by vampires kind of hilarious given they can't kill her. I'm not interested in permakilling her.
5.) Is it acceptable for other characters with abilities of shapeshifting or disguise to imitate your character? Does this include ability mimicry? Her appearance is pretty easy to copy for shapeshifters etc, she just looks human, but I'm not sure how much success they'd have trying to mimic immortality.

part iv.
1.) Can your character's presence or aura be noticed by other characters, and how would it look/feel to them? How would it manifest to a character with no supernatural abilities, if at all? To a character with no supernatural abilities, presumably it wouldn't manifest at all. To people sensitive, the impression she gives of being old beyond her years might be really strong?
2.) Can your character be affected by magic spells and curses? Yes.
3.) Can your character be affected by sin and corruption, and be tempted toward expressing their darker urges (of whatever flavor)? Yes.
4.) What sort of sins is the character prone toward, and how might they best be tempted, if you are interested in such an event? Wrath. Basically if you push her hard enough you'll end up with ~the Punisher~, only blonde and Venetian.
5.) Are you amenable to the character receiving prophetic visions, including as part of a plot? Yes.

part v.
1.) Is threadjacking allowed? Under what circumstances? Yes! Just touch base with me first in case I have something planned that I don't want interrupted.
2.) Is it acceptable for canonmates that are updated further than yours to inform your character of events yours has not yet experienced? Yes.
3.) Are there triggering or upsetting topics you would like other characters to avoid mentioning to yours for the sake of continued comfort (racist words, homophobia, self-injury, etc.)? My rule of thumb is that as long as it's IC, it's fine. I'll get in touch with you if I have a problem.
4.) Are there any additions you would like us to make to this survey? Heyyyyy sexy lady
